20 Minutes 2 People
Ingredients
Ingredients List
2 fennel bulbs
2 oranges
1 pack of Negroni diced cooked ham
extra virgin olive oil
salt to taste

The Recipe:

  • Clean and trim the fennel bulbs before cutting them into slices, of whatever size you prefer.
  • Peel the oranges and remove the white pith. Cut the oranges into slices too, taking care to keep the juice.
  • Now arrange the orange and fennel slices on the plates.
  • Complete the dish by adding the contents of a pack of Negroni diced cooked ham, but before doing so, toss it for one minute in a non-stick pan over a low heat.

An ideal summer recipe, despite the oranges, this fresh salad makes a complete meal and is perfect for serving on numerous different occasions: whether an office lunch or a recipe for a quick supper, a salad of fennel, orange and diced ham will be a sure success.

Furthermore, the simplicity of this dish will also enable you to make it in many ways: for instance you may add Taggia olives, poppy seeds or pumpkin seeds. In other words, with a little imagination, your Sunday lunch will be a triumph of flavour and creativity.
